“Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel completely exceeded our expectations. I'll admit, I was a little wary about staying at an airport hotel. I expected noise, crowds, and a less relaxing experience. Instead, we were pleasantly surprised in every way. What We Loved: • Remarkably quiet despite being located at the airport. • Clean, comfortable, and well-appointed rooms. • Friendly and professional staff. • Extremely convenient for travelers arriving or departing Vancouver. • Delicious food in the restaurant, making it easy to unwind without leaving the property. What speaks volumes about our experience is that we stayed here before our cruise and couldn't wait to return afterward. Rather than viewing it as simply a convenient airport hotel, it became a place we genuinely looked forward to staying again. Would We Return? Absolutely. This is one of the best airport hotels we've experienced and one we would gladly book again, whether traveling through Vancouver or preparing for another cruise.”

“I had a flight arriving very late at night and it was so handy to be able to just walk straight into my hotel after picking up my bags. The staff were friendly and because I arrived so late, and my next flight wasn’t until the following evening, they extended my checkout time to 1 pm. My room was on the 13th floor. It was so beautiful and comfortable. It was very roomy and it had a bath as well as a shower… which I took full advantage of. The bed was giant and so extremely comfortable. The room was soundproof, yet I could watch planes taking off from my window. I loved it!”

“We disembarked a cruise ship in Vancouver, and our flight home from YVR was the next morning at 6am. (That's a 2am wake-up!) The Fairmont Vancouver Airport allowed us to check in at 9am, into a large clean modern room with a comfortable bed and very nice bathroom toiletries. And, only an escalator ride to arrive at the airport! Every staff person was pleasant and helpful, from check-in, to the bartenders, to the housekeeper who helped us open our door and get our luggage in. The hardest-working member of your team was the front doorman. He helped arriving parties to unload luggage and move it inside. He gave me a water when I had been sitting just outside on a warm sunny day. He always had a genuine smile. I picked this hotel for the convenience of the location and early check-in allowance. But it was the staff who made this stay really memorable. This was probably the very best hotel stay I have ever had. I cannot recommend this property enough! Absolutely worth the expense. It was a highlight of our Alaskan cruise vacation.”

“My partner and I booked a room during a layover for a shower and a good meal. This hotel definitely had both. The check-in was quick and the staff made sure we had a quiet room. The room was spacious, well-appointed and the shower and bath facilities were great. The room service had a good range of dishes, I had the all-day breakfast, really good. The bed was beyond comfortable, and it was tough to leave for our next flight. We also liked the convenient location and plan to stay again on our next layover.”

The rooms are spacious, quiet, and exceptionally clean despite being at a busy airport. The beds are comfortable, and the views of the runway are amazing. “Fantastic place to stay, well-priced for a 5* hotel. Lots of power points, one on each side of the table. One of the best 5* hotels I've ever been in and on top of that, built into the airport for great access and post/pre-flight stay. Fantastic service and amenities, they even have microwaves on standby they can bring to your room to reheat food you picked up elsewhere. It has a well equipped gym and great in-room dining food. (They don't ask for tip for doing in-room service). I'm not sure if they do this for other hotels, but housekeeping arrange your stuff neatly when they make up their room, which I thought was a nice touch. There are a few nitpicks: no included breakfast, the water current filling the bathtub is not that quick and there TV table has a gap between it and the wall where, if you like to scatter stuff around, can get some random item can fall off the back unnoticed and would be near impossible to get without assistance. Would stay again given the chance.”
